On Saturday, April 23, visitors to the Ban Jelacic Square will have the opportunity to meet the rich offer of the Karlovac County which will be the citizens of Zagreb for the first time to present its family-farms, crafts, businesses, cultural institutions, associations, tourist operators, historical and cultural -umjetnički society. The whole event with neighbors at hours other than their sales and an exhibition, will highlight the full experience the traditions, customs, tastes and smells of the Karlovac County, thanks to which will be the citizens of Zagreb of all ages and their guests will be able to participate in a series of extremely interesting and free workshops as well as workshops: making strudels, knitting basket, jalba making (Jalba the female head covering worn by married women in the villages along the Kupa between Ozalj and Karlovac) and the production of traditional Vrhovac"flower" (flowers of paper that carried the bride on the wedding day), while the youngest entertain at children's culinary workshops.

Special attention will cause certainly workshops strudel for the world-famous reputation PPS destinations Green Heart Croatian (Karlovac-Ozalj-Pond), which boasts the Guinness strudel - the longest strudel in the world as much as in 1479, 38 m!

Day program will enrich the performances of several of these folklore and tamburitza companies, a variety of prizes and a unique opportunity to meet famous people Anna Katarina Zrinski, Martin Gambon and Dragojla Jarnević within Historia Viva.

Visitors who prefer less active Saturday with neighbors at the hour will be able to have a little chat about the variety of restaurants, farms and other subjects of the Karlovac County and from them to buy agricultural products grown in the traditional and ecological way (antique and traditional sweets, jams, flour, bread organic honey, produced by bees and honey, medicinal preparations based on honey, cheese ...) as well as traditional products, and other small craft.

The aim of the event is the presentation of products and services to promote Karlovac County as a wine and food destination that the local products and traditions built tourist brands, and its rich heritage and diverse events throughout the year, as well as a variety of recreational facilities, are only a half hour drive from Zagreb.
