Swimming in rivers

On a hot summer day, you can get refreshment in the village called Selo Korana, 8 km from the Vita Natura Estate. You can swim in the clear and clean river Korana within the National Park Plitvice Lakes. You can also swim at the public river beach in the city of Slunj (also  the Korana River), with many additional sport facilities, such as beach volleyball, football or badminton.

In case you feel  like visiting the city of Karlovac, the Korana has many surprises in store there as well. The city river beach at the centre of the town (called Foginovo beach), Croatia's first and so far only official river beach, is 70km by road from the Vita Natura Estate. At your disposal are the beach volleyball court, athletic field and running track, outdoor fitness equipment, bowling court, football and basketball facilities, as well as waterpolo area, to name just a few sports facilities you simply must try your hand at.
